Yes, one of the worst runs, an in terms of pressure an outlier by nearly 15mb. What worries me is these scenarios are still on offer - and knowing the recent history of the British summer they aren't that unlikely. Waiting for the 00z ECM to calm the nerves.

I got sunstroke in 2010 and couldn't sleep past 7am. It was still my best weather year ever.

Met check and Accuweather are at opposite ends. The latter claiming 15mm precipitation on the Sunday. That said they change their minds so often.

Last year the weather pre-festival was a freak occurrence, we are now safely in the territory were we can safely say this year will not be a repeat, however we are not close enough to tell if the actual festival will be a 2007 or a 2010, but at least the battle is half won.

The ECM on the other hand is suggesting we'll have high 20's / potential for low 30's temperature wise.

ECM 00Z showing the complete opposite end of the spectrum to the GFS.

Potentially getting towards (and past) 30 degrees by next thursday/friday!

So who will win out? Probably somewhere between the 2 is my guess!

Wednesday and Thursday looking beautiful on the BBC site... I agree that half the battle is won if it stays dry between now and the festival.

Yr.no is showing the Wednesday afternoon into evening being uncomfortably hot for just about anyone but a lizard.  I'd take it over rain but 26 degrees is a bit much for carrying gear! If accurate, that's going to push anyone with a choice into arriving earlier.

Warm temp on ECM but low pressure close. Could get thundry downpours from that from the Thursday onwards surely as low pressure just to south west with 1008 iso bars over south west
