ok...I guess you're right, Labour are going to invest no money into their clean energy plans and to reach it anyway is going to cost 150bn per year which we really can't afford so may as well ditch it. Anti net zero parties are going to win big in EU and Trump is going to win in November so it's all hosed anyway. -

Labour keep on making a big point that everything they announce is FULLY COSTED so if there is a cost, and the Labour policy shows zero public funding, just lots of references to private input, then it is not fully costed. As I have looked and you have been unable to show me any difference then there is zero public funding mentioned in this policy - so zero cost equals zero borrowing as I said in the first instance. Incidently, if the UK could get to 100% clean electrcity by 2030 for £15 billion a year in 5 years then that would be amazing - the real cost is likely 10 times that amount as upgrading the National Grid alone would cost loads more than is mentioned anywhere -
We took our then 8/9 month old it was brilliant. We stayed off site but walking distance to site. The Kidz Field is brilliant and the NCT tent at the top with a relax area is great (they also do baby bath time) we had a bike trailer with a baby insert for ours - but it wasn't a muddy year (2017) We watched Foo Fighters from the top of the field with her asleep on a blanket on the floor! Picnic blanket is a must. We had a great time! (and more sleep than usual as went back to tent usually 10ish and she slept much better in the tent that year than home too)

After another scan over the posters, I see Vlure on there. First stumbled across them at Latitude a few years back but they were also runners up in the Emerging Talent Competition in 2023. Loads of fun on the BBC Intro stage last year and I weirdly managed to catch them on the Hive late on Friday night whilst bimbling. Well worth catching if you like synth-driven post-punk with loads of rave energy. They also do a decent cover of God Is A DJ. -
