Well it's more than previous subs have done. So like it or not, it puts them in the range of being a sub quite easily.

I’m thinking if Weezer do anything UK related they may support Foo Fighters stadium shows as they have a run with them on their stadium shows in NZ and AUS The UK don't get toursthat good generally, although I admit that Biffy Clyro and Jimmy Eat World supporting MK Bowl a few years ago was probably the one gig I should have attended. 21 hours ago, DomDom1984 said: Well it's more than previous subs have done. JSmurphy
Ripped this straight from the Werchter thread: Pearl Jam will be touring Europe in 2018. Thought it's worth a mention, however unlikely they may be. Edited October 23, 2017 by JSmurphy

Andre91
Zegut has today said GNR and Ozzy for DL. Wonder who the third will be if that is correct? The Prodigy, maybe? I'm going for A7X. Edited October 23, 2017 by Andre91

But I’m sceptical because he doesn’t seem to have said it’s definite yet. A7X instead of GNR seems more reasonable.
FloorFiller
Metallica, GnR and Ozzy would be a ridiculously strong set of headliners, but almost definitely too much so so one of em’s gotta give.

Pointlessly strong. May aswell ditch Ozzy for A7X and ticket sales won't be affected at all.

Red Day
Metallica, GnR and A7X would be insanely great set of headliners
Andre91
Wasn't there something about a 2019 headliner already being booked? If it is GNR & Ozzy, I would would wager on Metallica being the one booked for 2019.
Mattymooz
I guess BMTH then gets skipped? I kinda expect them to be at R&L in 2019 tbh but I guess maybe they could stretch to 2020?
Gucci Piggy
Is he talking about Download UK or France?
SOAD
Would probably be too strong but this would definitely get me there next year: Nine Inch Nails Marilyn Manson Enter Shikari - would prob swap them and Manson nowadays Metallica A Perfect Circle Stone Sour Guns N Roses Evanescence Alice in Chains Can't be that far out of the realms of possibility. Don't see Ozzy doing Download UK at the moment as he has toured Europe loads of times and never done Download UK and Black Sabbath were so recent. DomDom1984
Any lineup featuring NIN as a headliner isn't too strong. Infact, I'd describe that as going the other way.

DomDom1984
I'd think Manson and Shikari could both play the same day with one headlining second. The others you could have a point on.
Hazz
Saw Metallica last night in London and unless they are keeping it on the quiet they didn’t mention coming here for any uk festivals next year.

Might be that a headliner is wanting to announce all of their Euro fests at once? Who knows.
