Unlikely. She'd have surely corrected it if he had.

But anyway, in the interviews where Michael said 2019 for the new fest, it was very obvious he'd been given a script to stick to. I'm certain that part of things wasn't wrong.

If that's how it is, that's how it can't be, with what GF have stated.

VB is 2019. 2018 is a fallow year for GF.

So either they'll be 2 fallow years for GF, or the two will have to run concurrently.

I see what you mean, yeah it does contradict with the 2018/2019 side of things  

I took it as relating to the ongoing plan, I.e. from 2019 onwards, so not actually relating to getting things started.  There's no way on earth we're going to get them both running together on the first year though, not a chance.  

I reckon Worthy will get two years off, although I suppose it's possible the fallow will move again, giving us another Glastonbury in 2018.

Not strictly true because if you minus all the fallow years since 1970 the 50th Glasto won't be until about 2030!
