Pedestrian gate A to tipi village for someone with health issues

Sorry posted this in the chat forum by accident.  Can anyone tell me how long it will take to get from Gate A to the tipi village? Arriving on the thursday, one of our party has a bad back so we're just trying to figure out if to get him to wait with his stuff whilst someone comes back for it or not or if it is doable. Thanks in advance

Quite a while.

If you're laden down with bags, etc, then an hour would be a good estimate. Unencumbered you could do it in 30.

Turn Right as soon as you get through gate A, then just walk all the way downhill in the direction of the ribbon tower, Turn left on the old railway road and stick to that, probably not the fastest way but deffo the easiest.
