The best way to get a position would be to actively apply for one -

- Apply to the Recycling Crew

- Register your interest with Oxfam, Festaff, and Shelter, then they should E-Mail you with more details about when and how their process starts

- Keep an eye on the WaterAid page for updates

I've only covered the major, national, groups that actively take applications from the General Public - There's loads of other groups at the Festival, but for the sake of simplicity I've not listed groups where recruitment tends to be more of a closed shop (like the WBC), or groups that require specific qualifications (like FMS), paid work (which tends to require significantly more hours), or any of the smaller community groups that tend to recruit locally (PTAs, etc).

they want you to go to them and actively promote yourself. it's not as if they struggle to find people
