Cross is still their best work but the new album is a big improvement on the second.
TheBurns
The new one is extremely good, the second one wasn't great. Problem is cross was so good they've a lot to live up to.
The60ftOctopus
New album is extremely good. Saw them on their last tour though and came away extremely underwhelmed. Hoping with the new album under their belt it will really up their live shows.
zeppelin
I can't get into the new one at all unfortunately. I love the three tracks released prior to the album (Safe & Sound, Randy, and Alakazam) but felt a bit let down by the album in full. That doesn't mean I won't give it more of a try! I've got tickets to the Friday Brixton date, but that's so far away!!! I always had them in my head for a JPT headline set, that or somewhere on WH. JPT would just work so much more for them IMO, if FBS can play in there then they definitely can.
Supernintendo Chalmers
Funny thing is, I seldom listen to Justice's studio albums but their two live albums "Across The Universe" and "Access All Arenas" are fantastic. For me, they are best enjoyed "live", so to speak. I can understand if someone listening to Cross, AVD, or Woman finds their sound a bit weak but go see them live and you get a completely different perspective. Edit: fucking idiot, I wrote "Across the World, not Universe" Edited January 9, 2017 by SPTFRE

Matt - Ed Banger Records
Having seen them live on 8 occasions I can also vouch for the fun of their live sets
aidenlangan95
I like the new album, not as good as the first though! Can't wait to see them but the shows are so far away! Edited January 5, 2017 by aidenlangan95
Nduja
After they played Chibuku in Liverpool in 2007 we nearly got the beardy one (Xavier?) back to our house party. Thought that they were absolutely amazing live but their DJ set was even better, especially when they dropped Three 6 Mafia mid set
zero000
Justice are a great live act to be fair to them. I think I caught them three times at different festivals/gigs in 2012 and their set was different each time but equally compelling. Not something that is that common amongst big electronic acts. rubenz
If you are having a conversation with a friend eg "ere steve fancy going to see that Justice up the jp tent later " would you generally pronounce the band name in a traditional English style or use the French pronunciation? Alex DeLarge
Their new record is one I listened to, really enjoyed once or twice but then realised a lot of it leaves me cold. I loved Safe and Sound though.
Evilmonkeydan
Justice for Glastonbury! My heart sank last year when I realised that thread wasn't an announcement.

It was an homage to Le Haine and a comment on the ghettoization of the Paris suburbs, it was also directed by Romain Gavras who has an extensive history of making this type of music video. I am assuming the outrage on your behalf is faux at this stage.

I would just stick Cross on, or the A Cross The Universe live album, that's a good taste of their live show, although it has been dialled back a touch these days because their later stuff hasn't been quite as distorted and noisy. jyoung
I thought that the new album was great. I haven't listened to much of their previous work but really enjoyed the new stuff and can imagine it plays well live. Would love to see them headline West Holts as an alternative to Ed.
