Signing up for Recycling Crew (Problem: Account Inactive)

Hi,

I got a message from Fiona saying I can now sign up for the 2017 festival, but when i tried to log on to my account it says that it isn't active yet, and that I should contact Fiona. I'm just about to e-mail Fiona, but is anyone else having this problem?

Update: i tried to log in again later in the day and it worked. However, some of my friends haven't received an e-mail from Fiona. Are they being sent out in drips and drabs?

I got mine on Wednesday.  I haven't tried logging in as am probably not going to be working in 2017 unfortunately.

Was told that my team can log on in Jan so would give it a week or so before getting in touch, she is a busy lady.

i was on the recycling crew for the first time last year. one of my friends received an e-mail from fiona, but i havent yet. does anyone know if i should contact fiona or just wait it out??

I've been contacted by the charity I work through to confirm attendance and pay my deposit.

Have you heard anything further yet? I haven't even had an email, and until getting itchy feet this evening, just assumed no one else had either

i've heard nothing yet. i was confident i'd get in this year, having done it last year, but now i'm nervous :-(

I'd like to know what's happening as well, I haven't worked for the recycling crew before and don't know anyone who has so I realise I'm probably at the back of the queue and therefore have to be patient.

My friends have 1 previous Glasto under their belts and they haven't heard anything yet.

I had another look at the recycling crew website and the application link appears to be live; although on http://www.recyclingcrew.co.uk/how-does-it-work/ it says 'Click here to register on this web site and apply to become a volunteer for recycling at Glastonbury Festival 2016', when you click the link and go through to https://www.recyclingcrew.co.uk/Apply/ it says Volunteers 2017 and asks if you've volunteered before, so I guess it's for anyone. I've put my application in, fingers crossed!

Our emails have come today from Fiona - my account is re-active now and I've just passed the 'Health and Safety Quiz', hurrah!
