Who was the first band you saw at Glastonbury (your first one)? I am not sure if it is something i should own up to but I saw Blossoms on the Other Stage (We all make mistakes).

In 1997 I'd not been to Glastonbury before and agreed to meet my brother  (with my tent and bags!) At the front of the Pyramid Stage during the first act on Friday - Phish!

Found him easily! It was pissing down and Phish are an acquired taste!

Who would do that now??

The 1975 in Williams Green 2014 (I know, I know!)  i did think it was going to be metronomy in my defense!

I seem to recall seeing Sharon Shannon in a tent somewhere in '93, I was only 7 years old though so can't be sure - first act I remember going to on my own and making an effort to do so was Finley Quaye on the Pyramid Stage in '98

I may have seen another but I think maybe Simian Mobile Disco, I was young and hoping that I was going to a disco with monkeys involved some how

Probably seen some bands before this but first one I remember is Two Door Cinema Club on the Pyramid in 2011. Were alright. Wu-Tang Clan followed but they ain't nuthing ta fuk wit.

Someone on The Bandstand on the Wednesday in 2010. Can't recall exactly but probably either The Mighty Peas or Punk's Not Dad?

Drenge secret set at Williams Green in 2015

I had to search this as all I could remember was that it was at the Bandstand on the Wednesday evening of 2015. Turns out it was Stompin' Dave and his Bluegrass Band. 

I can't remember much of them, as I was more focussed on the fact that a friend of one of our party was feeding their child who must have been about 5 a fair amount of warm cider to put them to sleep

2003 was my 1st- and I have it in my head that some bands played on Jazz World (West Holts now) on the Thursday as seem to recall seeing Ozomatli there on that night.

If that's not right then it would be the Inspiral Carpets on the Pyramid

Ben Harper, Pyramid, 1998. At least he was the first act I remember seeing, I'm sure I saw some absolute gash 90s indie-landfill on the Other stage earlier in the day.
