I've always been the same with Gorillaz, very 50/50 on it due to every other song being a different genre I suspect. The first album is probably the only one where I like the majority of the tracks.

I like a couple of tunes of theirs so had a listen. Initially thought it was one of those long youtube ads for tampons or something that play before the song until I heard Damons voice.

Crazy how big Gorillaz have gotten. Seemingly amongst kids about as old as Clint Eastwood (the song) but yeah, Blur must be becoming the lesser known Albarn outfit.

26 tracks on the deluxe version of Humanz, quite a hefty listen! The guestlist seems considerably more low key compared to plastic beach.

They're putting out a version where each track has its only vinyl disk, too. Absolutely no idea why anyone would want to part with 280 quid just to faff around with that, but there ya go.

this lot are on at Liverpool Sound City. I have zero idea of their likelihood for Glastonbury!!  This is a pretty commercial version of a sound that is very Northern and gritty the three times I've seen them live. Good to hear those swirling synth grooves coming back though. It's a trend I'm really liking.

Yeah, maybe I just don't remember it that well but everyone seems way more hyped for this than Plastic Beach
