Amy Lawn
Muthafuckin ROBYN is making some more noises on new music. New track called Honey has been recorded and will debut in an episode of Girls. Still no word on the album, but it definitely seems to be coming. Slowly.

It is actually pretty damn good. I may have been playing it down a little. It is 2 tunes too long imo. There are 2 which are very filler and detract from the rest of the album. They should have left them off and had a really strong 10 song album. Fair to say that Cover Me, a Dave Gahan written tune is my favourite on the album. To this day I never can come to love the Martin Gore sung ones. Out of all the ones he sings, I only like Home and Somebody.
Badlands
Loyle Carner currently my favourite of the year so far. Took a while to bed into but I'm loving it now, he's got such a chilled style of rapping about him. Lovely album. That Cocker/Gonzales effort lasted about three songs, pretentious shite! Wooderson
Don't have a ticket, obvz, but would be cheering on an epic gig from Spoon should their likely appearance at the farm be confirmed. Here's their cover of Reznor's Closer off the newie. Soz if same joke already posted etc.

I was looking at their tour dates today and they'd have to do 4 days in a row to play so that along with them saying they're not playing should rule them out sadly. Was waiting to see if they clashed with anyone before getting a ticket for their tour so guess I'll have to get one now
scatteredscreens
Pretty sure The War on Drugs are gonna have a new track this week. Perhaps tomorrow, with RSD announcement being tomorrow and seeing a leaked RSD release list with them releasing a 12 inch named: "Thinking of a Place". Edit: It's a 12 inch https://thefutureheart.com/2017/03/19/record-store-day-2017-david-bowie-flaming-lips-pink-floyd-spoon-animal-collective-pearl-jam-international-space-station-concert-peace-st-vincent-records-war-drugs-air-confirmed/ Edited March 20, 2017 by James96

Perhaps, I doubt it though, as most of the live releases normally mention that it's a live release. Who knows, we'll find out tomorrow

priest17
This play lost has some really decent stuff throughout, mainly young indie British stuff but really decent nonetheless, I'd imagine at least half of these will play decent sets at glasto in the future (for what it's worth, The Blinders and Strange Bones would be great for me) https://open.spotify.com/user/thisfeelinghq/playlist/3ku8LYBgCuIY1rTnTciEMg?context=spotify%3Auser%3Athisfeelinghq%3Aplaylist%3A3ku8LYBgCuIY1rTnTciEMg Edited March 22, 2017 by priest17
