Loved the last two years and has became "my thing" now. Two years ago was amazing and although not quite as good, last year was still very good.

I'm holding out hope for New Order this year and Arcade Fire(I know I know but I'm allowed to dream). I do think we will; see Suede and possible Human League this year.

If they want to grow this festival Elbow isn't going to cut the mustard, not whatsoever.

Stereophonics have mass appeal, despite them not being the biggest band anymore they still have a massive following and do big shows, they could easily headline.

But Elbow are too much of a narrow fanbase, I thought this year was all about growing the festival with it going three days and adding camping as well as the price going up, only way I can see it being Elbow is if castle stage has someone really decent opposite.

They should go for Weller still IMO and Elbow as sub. Madness/Weller/Phonics is a good package who would target same audience and sell well. Then something for the young uns on second stage

Looking at Kendell, I wouldn't be shocked to see Franz Ferdinand turn up at some point over the weekend too.

Elbow got a huge crowd when they headlined Latitude, but do admit that was 5 years ago now, and on the back of what was then their biggest album (Their next album went to number 1).  If the new album goes top 5, then there's probably a good likelihood they will headline at least one midsize festival this year

Rather they go back to their previous booking and pricing strategy if that's going to be the result of them 'going bigger', just becomes another 'lad rock' festival indinstinguishable from the rest this way. Tragic.

Yeah the subs are weird, unless Franz Ferdinand are about to bring out the album of the summer there's no way they merit being booked above Slaves

Not for the crowd that victorious attracts, hell of a lot more people will know who Franz are rather than slaves.
