You have to wonder why GF or See aren't making a very public statement about this.

They may have been waiting to see how the coach sale went, if it looks like the sales were spread over different connections as usual they can say the app doesn't give any advantage, if there are more iphone ticket sales than usual they may well take some action. I doubt if it has actually made any difference so far.

so it's shit then. What a surprise.

Good. Lazy bastards should use their finger and F5 like everybody else.

And maybe I'm jinxing myself here by being so mean - but I'm hoping to see some good sob stories about canceled tickets purchased using refreshinator. Not that I'm bitter or anything.

I used this on a 4G connection without any intention of buying any tickets. Just to test it. And I'll be damned if I didn't hit the booking screen within about seven seconds. Now I'm in a huge dilemma for Sunday. It doesn't seem remotely fair, but it got me in. Perhaps the speed at which it got me in was too quick for See to realise, or perhaps if I booked they would cancel at a later date. Who knows. But it worked.

Ugh. I kind of wish it didn't.

What 'refresh' word did you use? I got through by literally just manually pressing refresh in the app, so basically just the same as pressing F5.

Does anyone know if this thing worked in the end? I tried to load it up on a 4G connection but it wouldn't connect to the page - entering the Glasto booking page just brought up a Google search instead. Wondering if that was just me or whether See managed to disable it?

I bought it the other day, but after reading what was said about it, my arse started flapping and I bottled it. I didn't want to reduce my chances. F5 all the way.  Like what was said above, the bloke must have made a killing, I'd love to know how much dough he made from it, especially given that he had a vid to back up his claims, which made it look like you were near enough guaranteed a ticket.

I had a free auto refersh add-on to chrome running on a laptop, which did consistently get the holding page but no further.  Stressy as it was on 5sec auto refresh and I was worried about it refreshing off the booking page before I could stop it.

F5 on chrome on desktop won the day though.  Not convinced by anything other than manual refreshing.

Autorefresh add-on got me in one one of the 14 browsers I had running....

Only booking page i got was auto fresh of 7 secs on Chrome on my ancient laptop. none of the modern ones got beyond holding page. Put in first number from drop down list as computer remembered numbers from last year and couldn't understand why number kept on disappearing - had forgot to turn off auto refresh! Once done, sorted, although had to go back once from payment page. Not bad for a 63 year old. All the younger generation failed to get a booking page. Just as well they rely on me! had refreshinator but tried it out in ticket sale and it was blocked on the iPad. Had no intention of using it today. 10 years in a row now for daughter and myself.

Hi guys.

I managed to use the app and get tickets at 09.18 am

i changed the settings to refresh until word registration came up.  Used a refresh of every half a second, this was on my iPad

3 times using the app I managed to get through, but only once successful confirmation after entering reg numbers

myself and my girlfriend managed to get through to booking a further ten times using my computer and her laptop, single browser only.

we managed to book, with confirmation a total of 30 people.

I will use the app again, as it did get through, but I will also use f5 on other devices.

changing the app to recognise a word that appeared, seems to be the way forward, but even when you on the booking screen, you still run usual risk of getting booted.

last year and the year before, we didn't manage to land on booking page at all.

this year we had 70mb connection and used both safari, google and app.

i saved the registration webpage for a just in case moment upon resales
