Outline Productions
Hi, An exciting new health show is looking for people who had experience of measles at a music festival this summer. As you may know, there were several measles epidemics linked to music festivals, and we'd love to find somebody who was there and chat to them about their personal experience and help raise awareness of the importance of making sure you have the MMR jab as part of your festival health care. Obviously this is a sensitive subject, so we would keep the details of anyone who contacted us confidential, and there would be no pressure to talk about anything they wouldn’t want to or appear on TV; we’d just love to get a sense of who is out there. If interested, please get in touch with casting@outlineproductions.co.uk and we can arrange a chat. Thanks!

You what. That'll make for an interesting chat with the travel nurse. "So where are you going on holiday, somewhere exotic?" "Yeah, Somerset"
scaryclaireyfairy
The majority of those who caught measles had not been vaccinated for whatever reason (medical, choice). So unless the programme is about anti-vaxers, where's the story?

waterfalls212434
The bigger question for the journalist given the current state of that profession is is most likely `how can we somehow present said outbreak as Jeremy Corbyns fault`
Spindles
I'm sure someone will be around before too long to let us know the answer to that question. Edited September 29, 2016 by Spindles

Yoghurt on a Stick
I'm afraid this wasn't at Glastonbury this year because I wasn't there, but I did talk to a measle at another festival that I went to. I've talked to a lot of contagious diseases over the years and kind of know their ilk, so was a bit wary at first of this solitary measle. Where were it's mates I though to myself? Measles normally hunt in packs - everybody knows that. So, I asked this measle why it was on it's own. It said that it had come along with some botulism mates but that he'd somehow mislaid them. It was then that I knew it was time to split the scene. Everybody knows that these two ailments don't get on with each other. It's like the East Staines Massive v the West Staines Massive all over again. So, I politely told it that I had to go because I had a date with a pimple, and that, you know, three's a crowd and all that. Anyway, I hope that's of some help. I like to help. I could even come to your studios in Highgate Road if you wanted to interview me?
