I'm a bit disappointed by the lineup as was hoping for more bands which I really like but not to be so time to start listening to lots of music which of course is great fun.

However, any ideas when the next batch of acts are likely to be released and would you expect any decent size bands as just hoping for 1 or 2 that really want to see?

I can't remember the timing from last year and how the first wave of acts differed from the second.

Bit poor isn't it.

Couldn't imagine waking up one day with Clean Bandit and Stereophonics to look forward to.

Bit weaker than the seemingly related ones (Truck, Kendal).

Man cannot live on Cabbage alone

Yes, really surprised about the amount of positivity on social media... I'm just not feeling it!

What's the vibe at this festival guys? Done Kendal 3 times but gave up in 2014 as I felt it'd gone very GCSE results party like Leeds Fest.

Lots of younger end who cannot take their drink/drugs.

Been Latitude last few years which couldn't be further from that, love Y-Not line up so I'd be keen.

Thanks in advance

Its changed considerably in the 4 years I've  been going, used to be a majority of people just there for a good time and very much friend vibe but  has started to change. There were a lot more arseholes this year who couldnt handle their drink  like you say. A great festival though if you go to the right places and avoid the sort of band youd associate with drugged up 15 year olds.

Bit of that at ynot now it has increased significantly in size.

Heard it described as a rites of passage/first festival for people in the area.

Still enjoyed it though. Plenty of good stuff away from the main stage bits and they have a good eye for up and coming acts.

Little harsh as I was only asking for my girlfriend (we're both 30!) who isn't sure whether to come as she doesn't just want to watch guys with guitars all weekend....

I'd say Y Not is predominantly guitar bands. You'll get a hand full of other acts. There is some night time entertainment that not guitar music.
