Untz
Balls. Can only hope this lack of London date on their tour means something else is happening. Something good. Doubt it though.

Everyone out of their chairs, dancing. there were people doing that in bristol but he can't sing any more, his piano wasn't even plugged in and kept leaving the stage, presumably to take medication

I think he's entitled to the odd break.
PretentiousThinkpiece
id argue that a 74 year old man with long standing mental health issues shouldn't be doing world tours and playing 38 song sets personally...

FrancisH
I know Neil has put it on his article, and maybe I'm being dense here - but I can't find any reference to Future Islands, Ryan Adams or PJ Harvey being exclusives on the Greenman site? Edit: wait, found it. Fuck you Greenman. Edited January 26, 2017 by FrancisH
lime green
http://www.greenman.net/news/pj-harvey-ryan-adams-and-future-islands-headline-green-man-2017/ Quote So that’s three headliners! And you won't see any of them at ANY other UK festival this year.

Not blown away by the rest though, some good stuff there don't get me wrong - But they must have paid a fair bit for exclusivity on those three at the cost of quality further down. They played a couple of years ago on Avalon so I doubt they'd be back again so soon. Annoyingly they clashed with Belle & Sebastien last time so I missed them. Annoyingly they clashed with Belle & Sebastien last time so I missed them. I watched the first half, and then cut across to the end of B&S. I would love them to do the album straight, at Avalon they were doing a career spanning set, so we were listening to a cover of Heard It Through The Grapevine because one of the band members had played on a version of it once in the US, they talked an awful lot between songs too, it was a bit of a cheese fest tbh .... I waited for a trio off the album and left on a high.
CaledonianGonzo
Do they specify whether it's the Odyssey & Oracles line-up or the current touring band? I saw the former do their 'Final EVER Performances of Odyssey & Oracle' tour about 4 or 5 years ago.
