Eh? Their crowd seemed like an average daytime crowd size - which is massive for the first act on.

I'm often up at the Park having breakfast during the first act (also saw Khruangbin last year) and not that the crowd was a disgrace by the standards of the slot, but I thought their might have been a few more folk around given the tailwind of hype around them.

You missed a whole day in between then.

Oh I forgot I did the same thing on Saturday and Sunday. Yeah on Saturday I missed Car Seat Headrest, Oddissee and Anna Meredith because I couldn't get up. I hadn't even done any late night stuff the night before I'm just a lazy fart. Only acts I saw all day were Wolf Alice, Madness, TLSP and CHVRCHES (I only remember 2 TLSP songs and 0 CHVRCHES songs). May as well have been at Leeds Fest.

Sunday I missed Human Pyramids and Kamasi Washington.

Cat's Eyes were very dull at Citadel, too.

They just had a massive balls up at Glasto. It started ten minutes late as they were still ironing out the sound, and it still wasn't right throughout so Faris was pretty disgruntled for what was left of the set. It was very odd to see Faris show any emotion while on stage, could've almost been human. I think the choir might have been scared of him.

Oh really? I might have considered going to see them at Glasto if I didn't know I was gonna see them 3 weeks later. Sounds like it probably wouldn't have been an enjoyable set though.

What are the chance of Car Seat Headrest popping back this year? Missed their set this year - couldn't wake up on time :D

I didnt think they had too bad a size crowd for first band on, certainly wasn't empty compared to some morning acts. A band lile that though are wasted on a bleary eyed coffee drinking audience, they should have been on early/mid afternoon when all the beer and cider starts kicking back in. Proper indie rock to drunkenly bounce to... Which means im hoping they're back and higher up this year!
