The new stuff from The Xx doesn't sound good at all, may grow on me

Pixies?

Pixies seems like a fair shout, considering they are at BST but don't appear to be an exclusive.

Could see them potentially at Latitude or Glasto, don't really seem them anywhere else with those dates.

Did Glasto in 2014 and they're not really the type of act I think they'd re-book so soon.

It looked like they were playing this year as they had Irish dates before the weekend and it looked like they were leading up to Latitude. I dunno if they'd be more likely next year because of a new album but I'm not expecting it. Might be possible for something like Kendal Calling or Truck or something but I could see them leaving it at the BST date - plenty of BST acts this year did stuff all except that.

The Fleet Fox playing Dublin the Friday of Latitude.

could they headline? if so it wouldn't surprise me if they're the Latitude headliner that also plays Glastonbury as is often the case

Are they big enough? They'd be an excellent headliner if so.

they got pretty big before they went on hiatus so i guess it just depends on whether that hype surrounding them has continued, although i think it will and that they could headline (albeit alongside two bigger names)

I've no idea to be honest. Pretty hard to gather whether they'll retain their popularity from five years ago or it'll have gone away with the scene that they were part of.

Going solely off predicting Bon Iver to be one of the headliners I think they won't book both to headline and that they'd instead sub (tho probably not to Bon Iver).

Fleet and the lads are big, but not quite the stature of Latitude's normal headliners, sub probably, could see them headliner EotR, but hopefully not Green Man.

Has Latitude been confirmed for this year? Surprised to have not seen any announcements for it yet.

Yes it has, they always tend to announce quite late. I doubt we will see anything before the new year.

GM have said they're not back this year, unfortunately. You not a fan though?

Yeah I can't see Fleet Foxes headlining. Sub Latitude and at Glasto play like 3rd down Other I'd guess.

Latitude's first announcement is usually beginning of March.

Bryan Adams is free on the Sunday... Would make for a nice Noel G style singalong to round it off.

Also... Bastille not even an English exclusive at R&L. Could headline Lattitude, return to Glasto (don't expect it), or are there any other smaller fests they could be at instead?
