Don't see Bastille returning after having played this year (at least I hope not). High (sub) slot at V, TITP and even R/L next year but giving Glastonbury a miss i reckon

I think T and R&L or V will offer sub to get them English Exclusive. This being said they are too big now for many of the smaller festivals anyway.

did my usual thing of starting off one of these and then getting bored/running out of ideas midway through. will come back to edit it when i'm not so lazy. as per, some acts would be lower but i just couldn't think of acts to go between em, and i've stolen an awful lot of ideas from other people's attempts in this thread

JP: Bon Iver, Grizzly Bear, Brand New, Sleaford Mods

PY: Radiohead, Frank Ocean, Vampire Weekend, Diana Ross

I'm obsessed with the big moon atm

Saw them at latitude, didn't know anything by them but really enjoyed them.

Btw does anyone reckon gaga could play, Mark Ronson said he was very close to having her guest at his shangri la set this year so I don't think she'd want a headline slot

she might not want a headline slot (although i personally thinks she would), but she's a headliner, and other than the odd secret set, Glastonbury doesn't really tend to have headliners play lower down the bill. even sub would seem too low a slot for her really

She certainly isn't turning down the option to if she gets it, but I don't see that happpening

That Emeli Sande comeback single is going to be all over everywhere from now until about February, more than radio friendly enough to make her the sub for Ed Sheeran I feel

Not impossible that she could climb to sub, but I'm gonna go with third down on the same day with a more traditional guitar act in between her and Sheeran lest it become a real MOR evening

We were expecting something like that this year for Adele and ended up with Tame Impala via D'Angelo, and obviously Ellie Goulding played before Beck so it's one of those things where mainstream appeal doesn't guarantee that slot I suppose. I agree that she is a big enough act that she could sub and people wouldn't be shocked but she could just as well play the slot before - either way I should imagine she'll figure.

The Weeknd, who we'd long expected to play that Adele sub slot, looks to have finished that album he canned his tour to work on and is apparently set to be announced for some fests so I guess he'll be back in the reckoning for a major slot too.

True. Maybe Frank Ocean as the meat in a Sheeran/Sande sandwich might be a goer.

Weezer would be great but surely we can hope for a better lineup than that....I hope the Cabaret tent has something good.

Pyramid: Daft Punk // Sia // The Specials // HAIM // Jungle // Schoolboy Q
Other: Nine Inch Nails // Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds // Weezer
John Peel: Lorde

Saturday

Pyramid: Ed Sheeran // Bon Iver // Emeli Sande // Years & Years // Buddy Guy // Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls

John Peel: Iggy Pop

Sunday

Pyramid: The Stone Roses // Royal Blood // Jamie T // Diana Ross // Clean Bandit // The John Butler Trio

If that was true I wouldn't be away from the other stage Saturday night.

Twenty one pilots are a must see for me next year

It's a decent guess. I don't see NIN happening though, but think that's the right spot for The National.

I would be very surprised by Lorde in JP. Emeli Sande below Bon Iver would shock me and Y&Y probably won't appear 3 years running as this year was a fairly high spot.

I can see a top 3 Sunday Pyramid going exactly like that even if I do think SR sub has a godo chance of being more dancey, I'm not sure RB would be put before Ed.

But based on that Weezer, Daft Punk, Frank T, Y&Y, Ed, Clean bandit possibly, Diana Ross, SR. RB if there was nothing else on.

Would expect Bastile to play high up on pyramid , maybe 3rd top.

I'm not sure if they're that big yet, I'd imagine they'd be a bit disappointed their new album only sold about 35,000 in the first week as it's less than Catfish and almost half of what the 1975 did.
