Thanks Funkyfairy.  As a caravanner my aim is to go on the Tuesday when the CV fields open even though we can't go onto the site proper until the Wednesday.

Then everything , totally everything is crossed that we see you in the cv fields on Tuesday evening, top of the hill of doom for a celebratory cider :-)

Excellent. Just wanna make sure there is no confusion cos we will have seconds to act.

I remember last year, prefilled form and a few days of false alarms - then had someone at my desk asking a question and I got a text, at the same time as pressing go, and tickets came up - I literally told them to go away right now, threw in my card details and hey presto - had to go an apologise for being rude afterwards :-) - sat for over a week with my debit card stuck on my PC !

Hi Grumpy probably a stupid question but are you in need of a cv ticket as well?

@H.M.V last 2 years you've been able to buy 4 GA tickets in secret sale

@Milky Joe please can you post your details on here or PM me - don;t need card details - just your registration and your postcode .... I can then prefll and save the page - grumphacks are in there, now waiting for yours

Who should we use for the lead bookers - @grumpyhack are you happy to be lead booker, and receive @Milky Joe's ticket and send it onto him as he will be out of the country until 21st

We've got this !

Sorry FunkyFairy! I thought I had messaged you. I still have a couple of people to contact.

Why thank you nice lady!:)

Thanks a lot

Dumb question - and minds gone blank - does it matter if there is a space or no space in the postcode (between the two parts of the postcode ? Funny when you really start to look and have all the time as its not a mad panic that then you start to think whats 'right'

I'm sure I have put the postcode in with and without the gap before and been okay. To be safe though, on my registration email the gap is there!

Cool you're all on one page - the 4 of you, but if we put MJ first then he would get the tickets and not be able to send them onto you I guess till he's back in the country on the 21st - You're first in my list of 4

Thanks again to you all for doing this. Those that have my payment details, I am more than happy to be lead booker but as pointed out it would probably be easier for Grumpy to take the slot due to me being away although my missus is home to send tickets out if needed.

And Havors is correct. You guys really are awesome!:)

No not a stupid question dizzymoo and thanks for thinking and asking.  I've actually got a CV ticket sorted.  Someone else managed to get two but now only needs one so I'm having her second.  This year the CV Field tickets will also have a photo of the booker so I'm arranging to meet with the person whose ID photo is on the ticket and drive in with her in the car.  Once in she can then go and join the rest of her gang.

That might be something others might need to consider in the ticket help groups.

Well I have just made my first sacrifice!

spent 2 hours in the hairdressers, my hairdresser asks if I want it blow drying straight, I think ooh, yes please, and tell her it's a nightmare to straighten tho! She spends forever straightening it and it's so soft and silky and I can get my fingers through it. I'm so happy. I go buy dry shampoo as I really really don't want to wash it, I need it straight as long as possible! On the walk from the supermarket to the car, I get caught in a deluge! I now resemble grandad Boswell after sleeping on his mop for 3 days.

Now I feel awful for making a silly joke when Havors said you guys were awesome, because you really, truly are all awesome.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for my inept, cackhannded attempt to at a joke.

Wishing you all the best of luck for securing those last few tickets.

Big love :)

Nah you're fine - haven't you seen my feeble attempts at humour? :)

I was devastated. I'm not a girly girl but by god I felt like one with straight brushable silky smooth hair compared to my usual curly mop of unbrushable frizzy candy floss mess!!

That's what I said about 4 or 5 months ago....but you get sucked in, never able to leave, your life just becomes a blur of efest threads, never seeing daylight or having real human contact.  Beware, beware of the friendly,  helpful people of the forum :D

Too late! I'm balls deep

Morning all, fine sunny day in Leeds. Not much time for posting as it's been manic in the new job and I have to pretend to be professional (difficult) and focussed (impossible), hence trying to avoid being on the phone. However, I'm wfh today after the dentist's. Ugh. Tooth extraction. I also saw Paul Heaton* in the waiting room!!!

*Just not that Paul Heaton.

Weirdos the lot of you.

Not me!! I embrace the frizz!! Or rather, I realised many years ago that my hair and I wanted it to do different things, so I've just let it do what it likes! It's far easier and we both get more time in bed in the mornings because of it :)

I'm still reading up on stuff, so doing that in slobby gear and eating chocolate is fine. I'm just doing my Elvis lip impersonation and drinking sweet tea.
