Tonight's baking is brought to you by whisky and ginger.  Vegan peanut butter and banana biscuits for the girls tomorrow.

No music on yet, but I heard Song of the Siren by Tim Buckley tonight, so that's my ear worm.

I know it sounds aweful but I can't establish in my head whether I've heard him sing it or not. I know that I play the Cocteau Twins version of it quite a bit, if truth be known.

I'll try that one next then, cheers.

Lily the Pink loves you! She loves all of us. If people are going to insist on worshipping someone, then they should worship Lily the Pink. Not a bad bone in her body.

Showing my age now but I remember when it was on Top of the Pops in the late 1960s.  That nice Jimmy Savile was probably there too.

Some medicinal compound wouldn't go amiss though!

I had a crazy afternoon in a pub once. It was a Sunday afternoon, so a lot of people were already wandering in to the land of the demented, after having put the foot down all weekend from the Friday. I was no exception. Anyway, the local dealer arrived and dosed the whole pub up with his e's. Then somebody put Lily the Pink on the jukebox and the place went wild. Medicinal compound has a lot to be asnwered for.

Morning Mr G, morning everyone else. I spent a large part of last night peering through the darkness of the Glastonbury webcam. So a bit tired today. Really pleased  about the now seeming certainty of Radiohead.

I'm supposed to be job hunting / applying right now, but can't tear myself away from that webcam.

I have also bought a tent, and pitched it in the garden yesterday. I went for a Vango Tempest 200 which I picked up for £99.99. I know how you all like a bit of tent porn.

Morning all. I too am hooked to glasto cam. I love a bit of announcement hype and excitement.

Oh and have also acquired a stalker who keeps down voting me for some reason. You really know you've made your mark when you get a neggie stalker. Lol

I'm supposed to be turning round some reports for a meeting tomorrow and Monday, but, well, the lure of a field, nylon, alcohol, and strangers is tooooo much. And then there's Glastonbury too! Ba dum tish!!

Hi all, the Glastoweb cam is my new favourite activity (although I have been under the weather recently so it is cheering me up a bit)

I wish I had a job I enjoyed btw. I can't work out if I'm just lazy or if I've not found the right job yet.

Nice day on the farm by the looks of the webcam too!

Ive been pondering this a while. I enjoy a job that gives me time to be on here cos I don't enjoy my job I think.

After 15 years working in different jobs and not much changing I reckon I'm just lazy.

Know the feeling Scruff.  I've come to terms with the fact that, unless I go down a complete career change path (which may yet happen) my current job is as good as it's going to get.  I have a very easy going and supportive boss and a good team around me, the atmosphere's nice, the location and commute is the best I can get for what I do and where I am, and the hours are flexible.

But it still doesn't float my boat!!  Fundamentally I'd rather be doing nothing or whatever happens to take my interest at that particular point in time!

So yes, plenty of speculation about next year, praising weather gods, looking at tent porn, planning what kind of gin to make for next year and generally talking rubbish with you lot!

eFests and NFR NFC probably do more to keep me sane than is strictly healthy!

And Yog - that is possibly the greatest pub / Scaffold / drug story I have ever heard
