Kodaline...

That saturday is beyond saving for me. It breaks my heart. Why Werchter, why? Please add some quality acts, please.

It is kinda funny. To me it is one of the strongest days I have ever seen at a festival, so many must sees. Which is actually a bad thing, since I am afraid that I cannot handle to go to so many concerts in one single day. I like to keep it small with only 4-5 acts a day. Right now, I am going to see Kodaline, JEW, SOAD, LP, Blink-182 and perhaps Crystal Fighters and Machine Gun Kelly. Too many already ;)

Same with me. Saturday is the biggest day for me.

I'm more than likely going on my own on the coach from Manchester and potentially meeting up with friends there (if they can make it). It's my first time going, any tips? Done NOS/BBK/Beni before as well as a few over here.

Booked into The Hive for camping. Is it a friendly festival? Slightly concerned about being there alone, has anyone else done it alone?

belgians are fine. theyre respectful people. add beer, great music and summer and they become absolute sweethearts and mega friendly. you should not be worried.
english is common currency, especially among flemish belgians, so language will not be an issue at all.

Please add some of these names. So much stuff touring around RW. What are they doing?

I think we have the same tastes :) i also love that you added Savages twice! Double the dose!

Kodaline is not my cup of tea. They will probably headline the Barn, right?

Don't think so. They played second on the main stage in 2014 and don't think they are that bigger now

Oh that's cool then. Dunno why I thought they were bigger. Would they fit on that main stage with JEW, Frank Carter, Blink 182 etc? Or just before Passenger in the Barn?

Exactly this... Add Warpaint, Moderat, Wolf Alice, Foster The People, Kurt Vile, Local Natives, Trentemøller, Royksopp, Floating Points and Jagwar Ma to that list (I know some are unlikely or even ruled out). So much good stuff around and they give us nothing of those...

I do have to disagree...

As a festival that has an attendance near to 200,000 I've been in some amazing crowds at Glastonbury. Just depends where you go.

Anyway, back on topic...

should've been more specific... I don't mean the crowd watching the music, I mean the people at the festival in general. Very middle class, very boring imo. And to the other guy: glaso was commercialised years ago

Hopefully, Rock Werchter will be my first major festival ever. When I saw the line-up I couldn't imagine not going there like, this line-up is gold. (Tbh, I sold my Sziget ticket to Rock Werchter.) Can't wait to see the names tomorrow.

I just have to find how I will get to Werchter in the cheaper way possible. Fingers crossed!
