Hello all, I was wondering if I bought cans of alcohol and vodka would it get tooken off of me? I'm a 17 year old Scottish bloke but I have a beard so am abit scared to just lose a lot of my drink worth abit of money and also what would people recommended to take as spending money?

It's honestly just complete luck. I was 16 the first time I went and got all my drink taken off of me. Then the following year when I was 17 I was fine. When you get near security, act as if you're struggling with your belongings, more chance of them just telling you to walk on past.

Walk in with some older groups. We've always had some young yins walk in with us, if you're worried can always make friends in the line and ask them to take the booze in for you. As for spending money aim to take something for each day, I usually spend about 50 quid a day but I don't buy a lot of drink in the arena and aim to get a good munch at healthy T  each day.

If I hide my alcohol at the bottom of my rucksack will I be okay? Surely they won't do full bag searches?
