Just watched "Nude"...christ, he fucking nails it more than I appreciated at the time!

Nude has to be a staple of their setlists imo. It's absolutely majestic and easily the song that shows off Thom in the best light.

Never been a superfan of it like many seem to be and wasn't at all fussed about it being included in their setlist (especially at the expense of Reckoner) but he really did nail it at Glastonbury and when he gets it right it's a great showcase for how good his vocals can be.

Still not fussed on it being played tonight mind (again, especially at the expense of Reckoner) but got a whole new level of appreciation for it live now.

@SwedgeAntilles and I could show you the delights of a Glasgow after party. We'll likely be exiting the Green to or mate's at the Gallowgate. Although I need to warn you, there may be setlist related weeping and hugging.

Taps aff hugging?  It's a disappointing gig that ends otherwise.

Give me 15 Step, Bodysnatchers, Nude, Reckoner and All I Need and I'll be happy. Seen Weird Fishes twice now and I don't need to see it again, even though it is superb.

Tempted to head up to Glasgow on my own for the gig. Have absolutely no way of leaving glasgow afterwards and I don't fancy getting a hotel on my own.

Trains at 5am home so don't really know what to do.

What a shit curfew time why not.make it 11pm ffs

I think some of the student halls are available to rent out like a hotel as the students have finished for the year- they're cheap and in the city centre. They should be listed on either hostelworld or hostel bookers

Saturday and Sunday start at 12 but Friday starts at 2.

Thinks that's the reason

Hostel bookers is showing a student halls room for £48, I think. If you don't opt for a room I think some cinemas do midnight screenings that might kill a few hours. Glasgow is not a great place to be at 3am though - there are no 24hr cafes or anywhere to just hang about (or at least there wasn't when I last lived there a few years ago) .

There's a McDonald's beside Central Station about 10-15 minutes walk from Glasgow Green that should be open until 4am, although given what it's like at the best of times I'm not sure I'd fancy going there on a Friday night.

Currently on route to where the bees buzz via national express coach. The following songs are tonight's musts:

How to disappear completely

Man of war/Lift/I Promise - any will do

Optimistic

Subterranean Homesick Alien

Seperator

National Anthem

Just about to start my journey up to Manchester.

After having a few of the big guns ticked off at Lolla/Glasto the big want for me tonight is HTDC. Saw it in 2012 but I don't remember it (as if that's already 5 years ago) so I need a refresher.

My Iron Lung or Planet Telex would be ballin, and The National Anthem. Just don't hit us with The Gloaming or random TKOL songs. And yeah Reckoner rather than random In Rainbows songs such as All I Need and Videotape.
