Acoustic Tent Capacity - Cyndi Lauper

On sunday night 3 of us went to see Cyndi Lauper rather than a main stage headliner.

Her crowd was pretty surprisingly decent in size. It wasn't full by any means, plenty of room at the sides, but I'd guess at over half full. The crowd went to the back down the middle.

How many does the tent hold? 6000?

It's a shame they don't film acoustic tent as would have liked to see Cyndi Lauper but Decided to watch Coldplay. No regrets about that

She was excellent. I'm happy with my choice of seeing her

According to the company that rents out the tent, 8,600.

I really wanted to see Cyndi, but ultimately she came in about 3rd place on a bastard 5 way clash. Hopefully someone took note and they put her in the afternoon on the Pyramid at some point, I do think she'd go down really well there.

Did she perform the country stuff or was it more of a greatest hits type thing?

A bit ot both. Generally more of a greatest hits, but did a few of the country ones too. It certainly wasn't acoustic though!!

From the top of my head, she did...

Girls just wanna have fun, true colours (acapella), time after time, money changes everything, I drove all night, The Goonies tune, Misty Blue, You're the reason our kids are ugly, begging to you.

If the tent holds 8,600 - she got a good 5,000 crowd I'd say. Which is good to say who she was up against.

That was possibly the biggest choice me and Mrs had to make over the weekend, Cyndi or Coldplay. We went with the masses in the end (and i'm glad we did tbh) but we'd defo got out of our way to see in her in the future if she returns.
