My daughter spotted a ring on the ground in the Greenfields which was covered in mud - one boot print away from being squished into the mud and lost forever.  We have reported it to the information desk and have kept the ring in case they didn't ever get a request for it; I have given them my details and phone number and I will pop it in the post to its rightful owner if s/he claims it.  It isn't valuable but would have sentimental value I'm sure to its owner.  So if you know of anyone who lost a ring on Saturday evening, please let me know as I would love to reunite it, but will look after it in the meantime.
