Headliner predictions 2017

Already dreading the clashes. Be interesting to see what Other has in store along with the other stages. Gonna be my first time seeing a headliner by the looks of things. Not sure if I'm totally happy with that but gotta do it at least once.

Didn't the Sun say Ed Sheeran for Saturday? With the Roses on Sunday is it possible the Sun were right??

You'll love it I'm sure. I don't think there's a better place in the world for live music when all the elements come together. Admittedly in can be utter tripe as well, plenty of evidence for that in recent years, but when the stars align, it's hard to beat.

Aren't the Sun normally quite good with Glasto news? Pretty sure they got Paul Weller and The Who before they had announced any dates for that summer at all.

They didn't just get The Who and Weller, they got that The Who were going to rearrange another gig in France to play which not a soul could ever have guessed, I hate The S*n as much as every other Liverpool supporter but when it comes to Glastonbury news they've clearly got an ear high up

According to an interview with NME here Emily has said TSR are not headlining.

In one article we've learnt both that The Stone Roses aren't happening and that Kasabian are apparently a front runner??? The NME can get in the sea

Hmm, strange they mention Kasabian as an option yet she wouldn't rule them out. Zero chance of them doing it so soon, so why say no it's not TSR but not deny somebody it very defitinely isnt?

Yeah I thought about this..my take on it was maybe that it's not both of them but one of them could still be doing it? As The  Roses seem very likely to me and Daft Punk don't

It certainly leaves the headliner situation in a lot less rosy a place than it was 24 hours ago.  The non-Punk/Roses options are a definite step down.

I don't even like The Stone Roses, but hopefully for the sake of all sanity those two quotes aren't as intertwined as they've been reported, and she just meant both Daft Punk and the Roses isn't happening, rather than neither is happening.
