1hr ago the area near where the JP tent used to be was under water , now its just puddles , fear not people the drainage looks to be working superbly

not really too worried about paths and vehicle routes being muddy, that was always going to happen with any sort of rain and the amount of vehicles going over them this week....

as long as there's a few dry days before Wednesday, it should be fine.

On the upside that £90 I spent on muck boots looks like good value now.

Still I hope it dries up though, kicking around in a pair of trainers on the Thurs last year was brilliant.

My concern is the campervan fields, I've not been in them before, what preparations do they get? Metal roadways or are we just left to fend for ourselves?

im guessing they haven't had the same sort of drainage improvement the main site has, but I'm also guessing being at a higher elevation than the main site helps

Road from Backstage Pyramid through to opposite old JP field (now hospitality ha!).
This has gone down a lot, you could see it on the webcam as the sun was setting.

My friend is on site at the moment. She sent me a message to say whatever I do not to forget my wellies. I am now frantically looking for my wellies, as I was just going to go with my ankle boots.  Well ok I'm obviously not looking RIGHT now, right now I'm typing about hunting for my wellies. But when I stop typing then I'll be searching for them!!!

Update. No rain for several hours.  Huge amounts of water logged swamp are now merely damp. A feeling of general optimism amongst the crew.

My jaw genuinely dropped.

Good to hear the ground has drained but rain on that level next weekend.... that would be carnage.
