Thanks for the updates @Sawdusty Surfer, it would be nice to be able to sit on the ground at some point! I wonder if there's any extra woodchip/metal paths going down because of this weather?

It doesn't usually make much difference if it's a bad one. You can't see the tracks for the 9 inches of mud sitting on top of them.

What ever it is like now, with the forecast showing mostly dry before the festival it will dry quickly and the surface will be dry just as long as rain stays away at least on Wednesday we will all be fine.
