This then had the barcode with everything displayed correctly.

Thanks, this is one way! In the end I just forwarded the email to my work email and the print version came out clean :)

No idea but I would feel much happier to have the actual ticket rather than just a confirmation email - apart from anything else, my confirmation didn't have a coach time on.
