Worthy View Directions

Have seen a few queries about directions to Worthy View. This is the document a friend received (from someone) last year. You may find it helpful. Says the directions are for "production vehicles", but they're the same for us punters - other than you don't turn up to Pennard Hill farm itself but turn into the car park. It'll be obvious when you're in the vicinity.

Can anyone tell me if I am driving through Glastonbury towards pilton do I leave the A361 before or after pilton village?  I know there will be signs but it would be nice to know before we embark on our journey tomorrow !  Looking at google maps there seems to be a good route down lanes by exiting at west pennard village then down country lanes to middle way road .

Going to worthy view

Follow the signs. Some of the country roads and lanes will be blocked to anyone but locals anyway to avoid pissing them off.

If I happen to bump into you at the festival I will happily buy you a pint of your choice for this.  A lack of knowledge of road closures/one way systems near the site has been causing a kerfuffle in the mandolin household.

Just happy to help :-) these directions were from last year, but the arrangements don't usually change year on year.
