Sounds like a plan to me, gonna have to get the jogging shoes ready to go - I reckon a fair amount of people will have the same plan and gully is only small isn't it?

should alleviate the beginning of the queues for the SE corner though it'll at least be shuffling by the time those who've seen Protoje get round to going there.

thats bigger than I thought it was. I remember the size of the stage but swore there was less space around it. Then again this year will be the first year I have seen anything on Gully

Yeah. ..the afternoon gig clashes with ZZ Top, and that's non negotiable. The issue will be finishing things up in Silver Hayes and thereby missing Hot Chip / Prince.

Never been at one of the wee stages at headliner time so I'm looking forward to Protoje Friday Night.  Missing the bloke out of Hot Chip playing Prince songs to a massively oversubscribed crowd at the reet quiet Genosys doesn't seem like a big deal.

My interest in seeing Sigur Ros again is borderline zero.  Been there, done that, was pretty bored the last time and that didn't involve squeezing myself into the JPT.

What sort of set do you think he'll play? Ive kind of jumped on the band wagon with him, only discovered him recently and have only heard his 'Ancient Future' album which I assumed would be the majority of his set.

Havent listened to anything else of his, anyone got any recommendations?

as far as I'm aware there's two albums previous to that. One isn't great, 8 year itch is decent-ish.

I've just realised I might have the title wrong - but the better one has the number eight in it, the not-so-good one the number 7.
