Driving into Campervan East and walking out

can anyone advise a good place for to campervans to meet thats near campervan east entrance, that is then walkable from the East fields to get back out again to meet someone to get a lift back home?

Basically a friend and a van are driving in with us on Tuesday but they then need to go back home to collect friends/kids to bring them back in on Thursday

Plan is meet two vans, drive in together, park vans, friend then walks out, meets another buddy who drives him back home - original friend will then drive back in on thursday with everyone else and walk back to the van he has parked on Tueday with us

I think the entrance is Pylle Lane

But this is one way on to the site (sorry if you know all this already), so maybe the nearest place to park up is slightly South of this entrance, and turn off toward Ditcheat.  There will be road blocks from some way away, so your friend may have quite a walk, unless you take a bike? EG how far down Easton Lane can they get, to park up?

If you are coming from the South I would consider meeting up at the services at Podimore, where the A303 and A37 meet. 

Once in the campervan fields and parked up, its a good 1.5 miles back to the A37 to walk against the oncoming traffic.
