Can't deny their following and would definitely pull a crowd. They appeal to pretty much every 16-20 year old indie rock listener, which id say is a large percentage of R+L attendees. Their fan base is much like that of courteeners I feel, they'll never appeal outside the realms of the U.K., which I feel could be their downfall if they continue to try to conquer the US like they've tried to.

They’re actually pretty successful stateside and across a few continents.

Ohhhh fair enough, thought them supporting Green Day didn't go down too well but i'm not sure how legitimate that info was. They are a good band in fairness but can understand why they don't appeal to some.

They'll be paying him a bucketload, if he's signed up. As usual for yer big American names, the VMAs will be an obstacle, but unless he pops out another album in the Spring he probably won't be that bothered about missing next year's.

I like it, it's nothing revolutionary, but it's solid indie rock.

I'd be very surprised given that July date if they aren't a sub at Reading this year. I think myself they could be given co-headliner but I'll stick with sub.

If you're gonna be on this forum, you'll have to be able to recognise a joke + sarcasm once in a while lmao.

Edit: Tbh the more I look at it, the more it just looks like someone who doesn't know the basics of who's in the running this year+ actual realism for some parts. Probably not a joke lineup like I originally thought lmao. Either way, this isn't happening.
