Going solo for the first time

Hello! I've been to Glastonbury a few times before (11,13,14)  but this year all my friends I was supposed to go with have all dropped out, due to finances and other factors. So i'm facing heading off to Worthy Farm alone. 

Whilst I don't mind spending time by myself and I appreciate the fact I can wander around as I please and do what I like. I'm kinda worried about missing someone or a group of people to share the experience with. I know how friendly the festival is but I also know that it can be unfriendly and i'd hate to be camping next to people who aren't interested in socialising. Is anyone else feeling the same way or in the same situation? I read these forums quite often but i'm still not 100% sure how they work! So I do apologise if this is in the wrong place.

There is a thread on here to join other people camping on there own. Its usualy on the first couple of pages.

Search for the thread about Camp Solo! I did, and will now be camping with approx 50 people I've not yet met, but who sound fun.
