Probably nothing but tweeted a friend asking if he thought there was a chance of the Dandy's playing Glasto as it's been a while since they played - they've liked the tweet. Free around the weekend of Glasto, brilliant new album out.

 

Clutching at straws I fear but would love to see them early on the Other stage or even as Park headliners/sub-headliners...

Saw them in Manchester last year and they were superb,if not slightly disappointed with the length of the set.

We travelled up there from the west country to see them and thought they were ace,  I think i even  preferred it to way back when I saw them at the festival.

We got our hoppes up last year for them. Maybe this time!

 

Is the new album decent? Last one I got is Monkey House, heard they haven't put out anything of note since.

It's an okay listen - not really notable or anything. Man I love Monkey House, though.

I feel like there was a tweet or something from Zia ruling them out but I can't find anything now. Either way though, I wouldn't really count on it as we're getting to the point where two-month gaps aren't gonna be filled in with shows that'd make Glasto a likely stop.

I'd love to see them at the farm, just got tickets to the Dublin show at the end of May and I think it's the most excited I've been for a gig since massive attack.

I hated Monkey House at first but came to love it eventually.

Saw Dandys in Camden tonight, new album tracks sounded amazing and the classics blew me away. Waited a very long time to see them. Asked about a potential appearance but it's not looking likely

one of the biggest mysteries is why they haven't been back since 2002...something happened there. 2014 when Brian Jonestown Massacre played and Dandys were in the UK was such a shock/surprise that they weren't at Glastonbury. Dates never looked plausible this year....and new record "Distortland" is fantastic, one of their best, if not the best, in the post-13 Tales era
