Time to walk from Gate A to South Park 2 campsite?

I was on site last week, parked at the coach park. There's what looks to be a proper road running down the side, in between pylon / Darble and the old JP tent site. To the left of the road are bushes and a parallel muckier path running along side. Entrance to woodsies can be seen from there. Is the wristband exchange on the right or left of the main path I refer to? This will help me navigate my way down. When there are hundreds of people around its a lot harder to work out!

 

edit: I walked straight down where it's marked VG5

The wristband exchange is where it says PGA. You would cross that road if you walk towards Woodsies

Thought as much! In order to get to Darble / Pylon, just bare right?

Yep. Turn right as soon as you're wristbanded. Or do as I do and collapse on the grass with a cider first

That's the main access route for production vehicles for Pyramid, Other, JP, Dance Village, etc.

So when the Festival is on it's very strictly no pedestrians, and there's only 2 or 3 places where you can even cross the road.

In my experience it's a complete lottery. Have been directed to B or C related car parks regardless of the entry point off the 37. Timing is the key depending on which car parks are being filled at what time. So unless you have the (timing) key, it's a lottery
