Anderson .Paak

Anyone hoping for him to be there? Looking pretty likely with his activeness in the UK in the summer and a healthy glasto-like gap before he plays Glasgow on 29th June. Have to admit I hadn't heard of him until his latest Malibu LP, but he has quickly became my favourite hip-hop artist since Kenderick Lamar. For those who've never heard of Anderson .Paak, hes a Californian singer/rapper/producer who has this year signed his latest album 'Malibu' to Dr. Dre's label Aftermath Entertainment. If you're a fan of Kenderick Lamar/Frank Ocean, i'm 99% sure you're gunna like like this guy so i'd advise checking him out. 'Am I Wrong' is the highlight of Malibu so far for me & his new one 'Dapper' featuring Domo Genisis from OFWGKTA

Not sure why I spelt Kendrick like that but oh well. Friday evening on WH would be one to remember! His boiler room is worth checking out for anyone who hasn't seen it.

I really like his voice and the kind of music he's making.  I'd very much be there.  I was introduced by the work he did on Dre's Compton album, would be a real highlight for me if he's there.

Absolutely loving Malibu and by all accounts Paak was the stand out performer at SXSW festival.

He's quickly becoming the one act I'm most hopping is on the line up poster.

Malibu is indeed my favourite album so far this year. I saw him in Manchester a couple of months back and he was incredible, great drummer, great vocalist.

A West Holts slot would be ruddy lovely.

he's not that big of an act so still a chance he could be added at a later date

I really hope so. West Holts would be likely and I don't think they did a separate announcement last year so I guess we will have to wait until the full stages and times is out in June.
