Confirmed Food Vendors 2016

As per the title, a thread for any food vendors who have confirmed that they will be at the festival this year.

Obviously this is a very important part of the festival which we all take extremely seriously.

So far we know that Chapati Man has confirmed he will be there!

In answer to @FuzzyDunlop question from the other thread, Piggy Smalls have not received confirmation from Glastonbury yet about having a place.

I dunno. I feel like Chapato Man has done Glastonbury too many times now. They need to give a chance to the younger, up and coming vendors.

As for Piggy Smalls. Whilst undeniably popular at the moment, he apparently he doesn't like selling in front of a massive crowd.

blue cheese soup stall was class last year.

I don't know why but I really fancied soup and went to find a soup stall and found that instead - they literally gave you a DOORSTOP of bread with your soup. Legends.

yep thats the one I had.

I was feeling a bit fragile on the Sunday and it was either soup or fry up so I thought fuck it and got the soup. Was great. If they are there this year I will definitely have another one

Wednesday - Strumpets With Crumpets at The Park

Thursday - Roaming Rotisserie at William's Green

Friday - La Grand Bouffe at West Holts

Saturday - Oli's Halloumi Cone at Pyramid

Sunday - Welsh Oggie at Other

Yeh, they were brilliant at glastonbury - the strange thing is they sell around Manchester quite a bit and we've been a few times and it's never been as good. Maybe it was just because I was at glastonbury that enhanced the hot dog eating experience or something!

This year I need to get back on the food thing. last couple of years I lived on Pie and Mash. (the only thing I could get down. The first few years I went I tried everything.

 

I am not even sure what   a Growler is

Sonny who runs it is a great guy. Used to see him at Glasto, Beautiful days and my local festival Musicport but he doesn't do Musicport anymore

 

They have a restaurant in Manchester now, need to visit!

I think we all know what a Growler is...I've never been that fond of eating them myself, but if you want the favour returned then it's only polite I guess

Sunday is the right day for the oggie. They were reduced this year. Had one before I started my afternoon shift and could hardly move for the first couple of hours though.

actually I remember  having a lovely Burrito , near to block nine.

 

I went to sit down with my Burrito and my pint on a bench. as I sat down the bench (badly placed ) was on top of a hill and I just toppled backwards. after several rolly polies . I stood up . food saved and some pintage lost but not all. Got a round of applause for my effort.

 

I hope they are back , but have replaced the benches.
