Amy Lawn
It begins! Thanks for posting, as somebody that lives oop north, I never get to see the site with my own eyes outside of the festival. Winter shots are particularly interesting. Flying over especially to see the area, climb the Tor and walk the site outside of the festival and can't wait :-)

Do you ring ahead for permission? Or ask someone at the farmhouse? I'm driving up north in a few weeks and thought it would be good to stop off and have a walk around the site. I've always wanted to see it outside of festival time. As long as you stick to the main paths / roads and keep dogs on leads etc you can wander around. People do ask at the farm office out of politeness if there is some one in.

deebeedoobee
Today's photos follow. Much work being done around the new John Peel field. A path has been laid through the woods, new paths and water and drainage points.
