"Local tickets will be released in two batches: telephone sales on the booking line, open at noon, Monday November 9.

...

Online ticket sales open at 6pm, on Thursday, November 12. The web address is also printed in the newspapers.

...

This will be followed on Thursday, November 26, with the Sunday ticket sale; which is open to the wider mid Somerset area including those who fall outside the local full weekend ticket catchment."

It's good etiquette NOT to publish the number online.

Hard enough for Locals to attend these days - the tele number is ONLY in the local papers for good reason !!

Agree in part however registration is now closed and you can only get a local ticket if you're registered to an address in the correct catchment so putting the number online now isn't going to make it harder.

Yeah I figured it was appropriate to post the number considering it's already online - the days when the number was kept to the papers has long gone. Apologies for the "bad etiquette", you might want to inform the organisers of these etiquette rules also

apologies for deleting it, then.

There was a time not so long ago when they were very fussy about keeping local info for local people - and I'd have been asked to delete that number if it was posted here (so I often pre-empted that by deleting before they asked).

No worries Neil - entirely understand.

On another note, has anyone actually had any luck yet?? Getting repeated beeps and nothing else over here

I'm just a bit touchy about it these days.

Twitter (not here I might add) is full of folk scheming to find local addresses to register at :(

As far as I'm aware GFL usually keep this number offline - it's historically been a real sales boost to the local papers.

The fact that you can buy via the website on Thursday suggests that they have a few tickets available.

I haven't managed to purchase yet, no panic though, as didn't manage to get them until Tuesday last year - still keeping the faith !
