Neil mentioned something about a 2nd Stage header at R&L being a 3rd on other (or something similar). I presumed it was related to The 1975.

If they aren't 3rd where do they play? Drop PJ Harvey down 1 and The 1975 sub?

The 1975 aren't going below PJ that's for sure. I couldn't tell you where, too big for JP...and I can't see them being a Pyramid sub....that has Faithless all over it for me.

Why is everyone so certain PJ is a sub? I think she's more likely for the manics third down slot tbh

I'm hoping she plays third down to be honest with you. Would give me time to wander over to West Holts for Earth, Wind & Fire at my own leisurely pace rather than pegging it over there just to get a good spot.

attempt #2. some placings are probably off and uneven amount of acts on each stage as i again couldn't think of anybody/couldn't be arsed. despite the JP stage being full of the most bait acts i always struggle to think of them due to barely ever visiting the tent or liking the majority of it's acts

OS: LCD Soundsystem, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Years & Years, Robyn, Blossoms.., James
WH: Underworld, Miguel, Hudson Mohawke, Vince Staples, Jagwar Ma,
JP: Catfish & The Bottlemen, Beirut, The Mystery Jets,

PY: Adele, Radiohead, The Last Shadow Puppets, Beck, Janelle Monae,
OS: New Order, Chvrches, Jess Glynne, Band of Horses,
WH: James Blake, M83, Action Bronson, Floating Points,
JP: Bloc Party, Editors, Kodaline, Jack Garratt,
PA: Explosions in the Sky, Savages, Deerhunter, Seaford Mods, Hinds,

Sunday:

Enough for me to be happy with there, I'd take that now.

Enough gaps for me to be able to wander.

Would sack EWF and Jungle off if something better was on a smaller stage.

Not a Grimes fan, Fuzzy? I'm not traditionally a pop person, but she's got that something and the new record is ace. In FF's GF2016 I'd be in the JPT on Sunday night.

James, Robyn, Foals, LCD

Beck, TLSP, Radiohead, New Order

Tame Impala or Peej, Daughter, The Coral

That Sunday clash would be a nightmare, also gutted to miss out on Savages and Chvrches but aside from those minor quibbles I'd be more that happy with that.

Band of Horses are much more likely for Sunday. That Saturday Pyramid is fucking ridiculous!....I'm not a Radiohead or Beck fan but still respect how big that looks.

That LCD/Underworld clash on the Friday would upset me deeply.

But you've included Radiohead, so I'd soon get  over it...

I'd take something like this... some horrible clashes on the Sunday though! I do think there will be a more dominant female presence at the top of the Park though. I hope so too.

i did have Beach House in the Sunday Park headline slot originally but changed it over last minute. still think they'd be a good shout for it - looks like they're in Europe around that time!

What do we think is the likelihood of Courteeners returning and if so where? Cant see them returning 2 years in a row but would love them too. Just doesnt seem like theres a capacity to give them a huge bump up of slot

nah can't see them returning - got a pretty decent slot last year and haven't really done anything to justify moving up the bill or anything

Their tour was pretty huge this year, but no new music to back it up. There was some good acts on other stage last year which I'd love to return but can't see them returning. Would like a Pete Doherty set somewhere on the saturday night but thats hopeful thinking
