No not yet but - not just idealism - I can't see another stage/place for them.

And to be honest I probably prefer yours as it has a load of acts I'd not thought about like The Hives, Wild Beasts, White Lies. But, talking of The Hives, I was gonna add an addendum that The Offspring play the 'The Hives slot' after the disappointing special guests.

The Offspring, shit as they are, would be very fun in that slot.

Any reason why you wouldn't go back? I was tempted to give Boomtown a go

Wrong place, wrong time, wrong mindset! It tainted it for me, but that was purely for me.

Others looooved it, so definitely give it a go if you fancy it.

Seems realistic enough. Though Mystery Jets halfway up the Other Stage is bizarre and Twin Atlantic moving up two slots a year later off the back of nothing would be boring.

Just threw them in there like bands like White Lies have played recently. I don't really know anything about Mystery Jets except the odd song.

Twin Atlantic played this year? Fuck knows, I try to ignore them. If so, take them out. Just saw them being discussed on the "Acts touring around Glastonbury" thread.

Yeah they were this year's 'ha you were so chuffed to play the second stage at Glastonbury but we're gonna put you up against the legends slot so nobody even realises you were on site' act.

Yup I walked past while they were on and the crowd was tiny. Felt bad for them but for taking in their music on the walk past the Other Stage I felt pretty bad for myself too.

That Sunday at The Other would be a brilliant way to end my weekend.

It's when there's a choice between Lionel Richie and Twin Atlantic on the two main stages that you can appreciate Russy always banging on about Glasters having gone downhill tbh.

Pretty sure Sam Smith has said he's buggering off until Adele's gone away again.

If ID are subbing R&L then 3rd down at Glasto main won't be happening I doubt but a very strong top 3. James Bay would sub Other now, PJ is a good bet. I think TLSP would be 3rd. TI could be Other sub but I can't argue with main 3rd either.

Editors behind The War on Drugs? Not buying that at all. Their Academy tour did really well, and they're still reasonably big. The War on Drugs aren't as big as the critical acclaim is.

They might not be massive but they're still bigger than Editors are, plus they're still on the rise whereas Editors are on the wane so they'd be bigger by the time a new album comes out as well.
