Any chance of Emmy the Great? She's touring right now.. new album just come out..don't know why she isnt more recognized...really good songwriting, new album really enjoyable as well, albeit a different sound to her previous works.

We all live in infinite hope she will appear, but I have tickets to see her on Sunday just in case.

I definitely think it's Prince over anybody else. They need something mega to make up for the rest of the shoddy lineup

On his last few tours nearly half of his set has been Verve covers

Ah hadn't look and didn't know....but I'm there, The Verve in 2008 were amazing.

Where would Ashcroft be? JP headliner? A few down from top on the other stage? Park headliner?

If he was up against MUSE or Coldplay, I'd be well up for seeing him.

Yeah I'm game.

Seems to be The Who. Heard em mentioned a few times now and would make sense with the stuff they've just announced in España.

Yeah them at Mad Cool makes it look nailed on....it doesn't make the lineup look any better though.

The Who have been confirmed for Isle of Wight.

Richard Ashcroft subbing them.

The Who is a pretty good booking, but doesn't really save a weak line-up overall.

If he plays Glastonbury that means he is not going to accept a JP / park place. I think he'll want pyramid then.

I thought the reason the announcement of the Saturday headliner was delayed, was because of contractual reasons. Why would The Who have a problem releasing there name earlier? It seemed like it would be someone like Prince the way it was being kept such a secret. Solid booking who will please the people who will enjoy Stereophonics and Queen, but that is one dull set of headliners. Richard Ashcroft subbing as well? Stereophonics co-headlining and Ashcroft subbing is shocking.

Didn't he turn up to Latitude the other year at the last minute and way down the bill? Surprised he's so high up without the album being out yet.

That would be the ideal place for him I think. Maybe 6-7pm for a good singalong. I would like to see him, but ideally not as a headliner in JP or The Park.
