There's no way Chvrches don't play to be honest. Even before they had any tour dates it was obvious that they'd want to do it.

yeah Chvrches were an obvious one. nice to see them added, although i'm betting they'll be one of the acts caught in the middle of a huge clash that i'll no doubt end up sacrificing, as is always the case with a lot of similar bands at the top of the Other lineup for me

Would be great to have Chvrches confirmed. Found out this week I might be working abroad for the gig at the Hydro and would have to miss it. This would make that easier to take.

Chvrches are surely a shout for a sub slot on Pyramid? They're overdue to step over to that stage. Sub to Adele?

i think Other is more likely (sub or third), but definitely wouldn't rule them out of appearing on the Pyramid, although sub or third is far too high - fifth or fourth at a push

I'd guess Other Sub is the most likely too..

 

CHVRCHES into LCD would be a bit of a wet dream for me.

Chvrches need to be on as late as possible. Other sub seems about right. Can't see them subbing the pyramid and wouldn't like them to be on any earlier

nowhere near that big! Other sub is definitely the best place for them - in to New Order would be a great fit

With the Benicassim announcement, whats the chances of Chemical brothers and/or Massive attack playing Glastonbury? Both have eluded me over the years and i really want to see them. With Chemical Brothers playing last year it may also be less likely?

Best we could hope for with the Chems is a late night DJ set I'd imagine.

yeah i think they could take either sub or third on Other. had them down as Other sub ages ago, but the new album didn't do as well as i thought it would and they're not quite as big as some of the Other subs have been in the past

didn't think they were very likely - they're the type of act Glastonbury seems to avoid for some reason
