stuartbert two hats
I missed tUnE-yArDs last time, only finding out who they were on watching the BBC coverage of the festival I'd just attended, so why not have them back?
CaledonianGonzo
Because (sadly) they weren't very good?
stuartbert two hats
Because (sadly) they weren't very good? Seemed ok on the telly. I'll rewatch, maybe you're right. It's a couple of years ago and I've mainly been listening to the albums since.
carlosj
Cambodian Space Project please. I enjoyed Raghu Dixit as their stand in, but I'd gone to see this band originally.

It's a couple of years ago and I've mainly been listening to the albums since. I was was looking forward to them / her, and she was fine, I guess - it just all sounded a little underpowered. I saw way worse that weekend, but it didn't quite scratch that itch.

CaledonianGonzo
And +1 for Mbongwana Star I saw Dutch post-punkers The Ex back in August and they'd be great *especially* if they play with Ethiopian saxophonist Getatchew Mekuria. Anyway, let's put the call in to: Maceo Parker St Paul & the Broken Bones Janelle Monáe John Newman The Heavy Natalie Prass Akua Naru Rae Morris Just give me the numbers, I'll get dialling... CaledonianGonzo
I actually dunno if I'd complain if the line-up next year was a little bit less chocka with good stuff. I usually spend a chunk of time there, but this year I started to feel I was seeing less of the rest of the site as a result.

CaledonianGonzo
I'm usually not for requesting acts back two years on the bounce, but definitely got the urge for a repeat perfromance from Mavis Staples.
