West Campervan parking

Morning all.

Next year i'm thinking of going to the West parking rather than the East, after 6 occasions of marching up that friggin hill I think i've had enough, plus the view is not as good as it used to be with the ever growing tress. Anyway:

I have seen a few pieces of info / comments and hope that some of you kind folks can clarify / confirm a few things for me.

 

1) What route is it to get there, as its on completely the other side to the East site i have never driven around that side

2) What time can you get in on the Tuesday

3) Whats the traffic like on Tuesday

4) Are there food vans on site from the Tuesday to at least the following Monday

5) Is water easy to get

6) Does it have its own gate to get into the festival / get your wristbands

7) What are the queue's like to get wristbands at 0800 on the Wednesday

How long is the walk from the furthest point to get to the gate, i think the West is much smaller than the East so can't imagine that it's too far.

 

Hopefully we will soon know the date for the pass sale and will be lucky enough to get part 2 of the golden ticket!.

Come in from Street/Glastonbury town. A361. White route.

2) What time can you get in on the Tuesday

From midday I believe

3) Whats the traffic like on Tuesday

No problem!

4) Are there food vans on site from the Tuesday to at least the following Monday

There was a festival-quality generic takeaway van this year

5) Is water easy to get

Yes. There's a water supply by the toilets

6) Does it have its own gate to get into the festival / get your wristbands

Yes

7) What are the queue's like to get wristbands at 0800 on the Wednesday

No problem

How long is the walk from the furthest point to get to the gate, i think the West is much smaller than the East so can't imagine that it's too far.

15 mins tops. At the point between the two fields it was 5-10 mins walk depending on how knackered I was!
