Tangerine Fields anyone camped there before?

For a change we are seriously thinking about it this year. We've been lucky enough to go for many years and really we are now feeling it in the old bones. We generally go to the family field and like the fact we can hear what's going on from the pyramid and don't have that far to walk to the acoustic/circus fields. How much further is Tangerine Fields is it really out of it? Enough to lose atmosphere? There's a group of ten of us.

I've done TF a few times. OH insists as she likes her comforts. So we do it in style making it as comfortable as possible as it's our Holiday. We can eventually get on a few plane on a fallow year.

TF is only a couple hundred yards from ped gate B and been told it's closest off site camping. Nice chilled atmosphere on site and great views from top field.

No its not like being in the mix on site. Just depends what you want. Normally leave a bag of warm clothes/supplies in lock ups so no need to go back.

Showers get busy in morning. We always go at end of day. Pamper parlour looks good. Close car park is very convenient. We take all our dink with us so money we save by not buying drink on site offsets the cost. Already booked 2016 having been lucky to bag tickets again.

I've used both TF and WV. Go to Worthy View, so much better.

There are steps up the hill now so no problems in the rain/mud

It cost about £125 in a four bedroomed tent. Not bad at all. I suppose it's more if there's less of you. Almost sold out now.
