Brilliant first post.

Thank you! I created the tour so stumbled onto this forum when I saw an influx of traffic from efestivals :-)

Sneaky bit of drone photography there by the looks of it ;)

Sadly I wasn't allowed to take my drone, in fact all drones were banned from Glastonbury this year for safety reasons.

Ah, the Stone Circle shot gives it away - there is a shadow of a pole being used which is presumably being automatically edited out of the final shot.

Correct. If you look down on every shot you'll see a ginger-bearded, flowers in the hair looking wierdo...that's me taking the photos. For those after the techy details, it was shot with a Canon 5D Mark 3 and a Canon 8-15mm fisheye lens, mounted on a monopod, handheld as high as I could and triggered with a wireless remote button around my neck. 4 - 6 shots taken all the way around and stitched together afterwards then hours of painstaking masking of the images by hand to (try to) eliminate any people chopped in half between shots, remove the camera and monopod etc.

Have to say after looking through it that this is an absolutely stunning piece of work. Many thanks.

Thank you, it's nice to get feedback. This wasn't a paid for project, just something I did when I lost the rest of my group for half a day.

Found myself at pharrell after some serious detective work

Glad you finallly found yourself. FYI if you zoom in on a specific view in any image and click the share button at the bottom it should generate a link to that EXACT image, zoom level and fielve of view so you could share it with your friends so they don't have to go searching for you but land straight on you.

Brilliant piece of work Scoopz. Have you done anything else like this before?

Yes, I do some work for Google doing special Street View projects (example of my work inside a submarine, onboard a battleship, inside a vintage Tesco store) which all get published on Google Maps. So I decided to take my gear along to Glastonbury just in case I had any good opportunities. I might publish these to Google Maps in the future but Google Maps is going through a system changes at the moment so I opted to publish a freestanding version for now. It's the first festival I've ever shot and more importantly, the first tour I've done containing moving people so it presented a few challenges but I'm happy with the results.
