Hey guys! It looks like I'll be going alone this year so it would be cool to hang out with you (if that's okay).

I was just wondering, how many 'loners' usually end up camping together?

Thanks!

Last year we had about 12ish (maybe more) camping I think, with quite a few camped elsewhere but popping back.

I've got my early entry, so while I remember, if anyone is going from Paddington on weds morning I'm happy to meet up beforehand.

I know it's early but I'm already thinking about next year already!

I have next year booked off work for Reading Festival. I'm 27, down to earth and friendly. Currently going alone and I don't expect that to change.

Hi there!

I am really new to this whole idea of going alone. Whilst I have been before, not many of my friends share the same music taste as me ( huge Red Hot Chilli Peppers fan!) and I am really considering going this year. Is this group genuinely up for going alone this year? Also how would one meet everyone else there? And is this still okay if I only want to go for a day?

Are we all going for Orange E again? :)

Orange was good last year, and it didn't fill up all that quick either for people arriving thursday.

We will! I personally preferred it, far less hassle and far less drama than with the group I used to go with.

As for finding each other - last year we had a flag at the campsite for people arriving.

Do it, you will love it once again. I've been for the last 3 years now and just gets better and better in my view. Yeah it's fine if you wanna do that, we could meet up or something that is cool as well.

Hey friends!

If you're a silly American (like I am) which probably most of you aren't, the Weekend Passes INCLUDE camping.

Also, my pal (she has also been tracking this feed) and I would love to join the camp loner group! Let's all stay in touch until the festival rolls around in August.

I'm traveling from California because I'll be studying abroad in London in the Fall.  It's always been my dream to go to Reading, so I'm super excited that it's finally going to come true!

Yep, tickets include camping from Thursday morning. Only other ticket work getting (Early entry have sold out) is a locker. They're not that expensive!

Hey everyone,

I'm going to reading alone and I'd love people to camp/socialise with. This is my first festival. I'm laid back and easy to get on with :) The line up is amazing! If you'll have me?

And how do we all stay in touch?

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum and just joined it purely on the basis of this thread!

I'll be hitting up Reading alone this year and was hoping I could tag alone with camp loner? It'll be my first time at Reading as I've always wanted to go and this years line up looks great, yet not many of my pals have the same music taste or are up for going for a whole weekend. So I'm not going to let that stop me!

Anything in particular you would suggest buying with a ticket? Lockers etc.. Also has anyone had any experience with the big green coach service?

I'm going alone this year, with people I have met through the Reading Festival Camp Loner Facebook Group.

Although I'm more or less settled on a group I'd like to meet you crazy cats in Orange if I am welcome over for a beverage?

If anyone want to chat or meet me at the festival then add me up on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/7percent

Everyone is welcome, was great last year and the more people the better. We have a facebook group to keep in touch and I'm sure the other guys won't mind if we add new people!

Sorry I'm not on there - I never have a chance to use Facebook!

Is anyone else coming from Paddington?
